What documents are required to rent a bike?
You need a valid original driving license for two-wheelers and an original government ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport). Physical documents are verified at branch handover.
Is fuel included in the bike rental price?
Fuel is not included in the rental price. The vehicle is provided with sufficient fuel to reach the nearest petrol bunk, and should be returned with the same fuel level as handed over.
Can I rent a bike for just one day?
Yes! Daily rentals are billed per 24-hour period. We offer flexible rental durations from single-day city commutes to multi-day touring and 28+ day monthly plans.
What types of bikes are available for rent?
We offer 64 catalogue models in Chennai including automatic scooters (Activa, Dio, Jupiter, Ntorq, Fascino), commuter bikes (Splendor, Shine, Pulsar), sports motorcycles (R15, MT-15, Duke), electric scooters (Chetak, iQube), and cruisers (Royal Enfield Classic, Bullet, Meteor, Himalayan, and Harley-Davidson).
Is Royal Enfield available in my city?
Yes! We have a complete Royal Enfield fleet available in Chennai across our Kodambakkam Branch and Arumbakkam Branch and Karapakkam OMR Branch branches, including Classic 350, Bullet 350, Meteor 350, Scram 411, Himalayan 411 & 450, and Interceptor 650.
Can I rent a scooter in Chennai?
Yes! We offer popular automatic scooters including Honda Activa 6G & 2025, Honda Dio, TVS Jupiter, TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Fascino, and electric scooters with a flat ₹2,000 refundable deposit.
Is a helmet included with the bike rental?
Yes, one complimentary ISI-certified rider helmet is provided with every bike rental. A secondary pillion helmet can also be requested during pickup.
How far in advance should I book a bike?
We recommend reserving at least 24 to 48 hours in advance, especially for weekend getaways, holiday rides, or outstation road trips, to ensure your preferred model is reserved.
How does the refundable security deposit work?
Scooters use a flat ₹2,000 refundable deposit, while motorcycles range from ₹2,000 to ₹5,000. Deposits are collected via cash or UPI at handover and refunded after vehicle inspection upon return.
What is the daily kilometer limit and extra charges?
Every SFA rental includes 100 km/day. If your ride exceeds this total allowance across your booking period, additional distance is charged at ₹5/km upon return.
